Key Glock El Paso - Young Dolph and Key Glock are the perfect rap duo. Dolph can be dull and smooth, while Glock can be wild and unpredictable. As different as they are, that might explain why they're so lyrically compatible on their new collaborative project, Dum and Dummer.
The Memphis duo's 22-track mixtape showcases their true friendship, not shocking trap beats. Dolph and Glock recently visited the XXL offices for our Masterpiece series, grabbing a few tracks from Dum and Dummer.

Artist Glock, signed to Dolph's Paper Route Empire label, explains the name of his project. "Everything we've done is stupid, we've been going crazy," he said.

"I wanted to focus on the painting, but it might not look right," he said. After a few minutes, Dolph sticks out his tongue and makes an impressive grin. Meanwhile, Glock drew an angry smiley face and screamed the word "TF" from above. Then he added an "Aayyy" to Dolph's emoji.
The dynamic duo continues to work on their next project for "Water on Water." Glock keeps it simple and draws blue lines to represent water waves.
"It was made by BandPlay, it was hard," Dolph said of the song. "The video came out. Actually, it's the new single, it's the bomb." BandPlay produced 20 of the project's 22 tracks.
Then Dolph added some graffiti by drawing the letters W-O-W. "Water on water. We've got emojis and doodles and waves and it's all amazing," said the 34-year-old rapper, clearly impressed by his masterpiece.

Dolph and Glock then began working on the visuals for "Blac Loccs," a standout track on the mixtape. The gospel-influenced thump was produced by BandPlay and, according to Dolph, "is exactly what [the tape] needed."
As for their energy in the studio, they poke fun at each other. “When we record together, we pick up where each other left off, like he can do the hook or I can do the verse or the hook, it doesn’t matter, let’s just go for it,” Dolph continued. . "We're not going to make it complicated because the most important thing is that we have fun."
Dolph then went on to create another emoji, this time with sunglasses to represent black locks. "I think I've found my Shakespearean mojo," she says as she draws. - I really like my masterpiece.
"It's a masterpiece...silliest, it's going to be auctioned off," Dolph said to the camera before closing with the black locs emoji. Glock wanted the Gunners to make a bid: "It starts at $22 million." Dolph replied: "I think that's too much. I think we should bring it down to $20 million."

When they finished the art class, Dorff graded their work: "120 A-plus," he said. Glock added, "A-plus-plus."
